Final Exams, Graduation Projects and Summer Courses

Dear CC students,

The final exams (of this term, Spring 2009/2010) will start on the 5th of June, 2010. The graduation projects will be on the 13th, 14th and 15th of July 2010. The summer registration will start on the 3rd of July and the summer term will start on the 10th of July, 2010.

This is to announce that Hassan Tarek Nouh has passed away in a tragic car accident on the new year’s eve, 31st of December, 2009. He was a second-year student at the computer engineering department, AAST.

CONGRATULATIONS! XCODERS won the IEEE Xtreme programming contest :)

Dear All,

We are glad to announce that the CC department’s team, namely XCODERS, participating in the IEEE Xtreme programming challenge has been ranked the 36th out of 714 participating team worldwide. The team was lead by the director of SIGACT in CC, Eng. Ahmed El-Habashy and was fully sponsored by the CC department. CONGRATULATIONS! :)

Registration will be available FOR THE LAST CHANCE on the upcoming Wednesday and Thursday of this week (the 21st and 22nd of October). To make sure you’ve successfully registered and that your registration was not cancelled for any reasons, please checkout this list of unregistered students. If you DON’T FIND YOUR NAME, your registration is OKAY.

WARNING: Make sure to check the list mentioned above and don’t just count on any printed document that you currently owe to prove your registration. The ONLY guarantee for your successful registration is when you do NOT find your name in the mentioned list.

Semester postponed to start on the 3rd of October

Dear CC students,

This is to announce that the semester has been postponed to start on the 3rd of October, 2009 instead of the 27th of September, 2009. The postponing was made because of the current globally unstable and non healthy situation due to the Swine Flu disease. Please be advised that there could be further semester postponing and they will all be announced here as usual.

Please send me ANY (literally ANY) feedback that you can send considering e-payment and online registration/preregistration. This feedback includes: Problems, errors, bugs, website problems, registration problems or even successful registration.

Please make sure to send YOUR REGISTRATION NUMBER and a brief description (1 to 5 lines) with your feedback. I’ll appreciate if you feed me back even if you successfully register or payed online (again: don’t forget your registration number).
